When luxury travel brand Abercrombie & Kent commissioned a flagship TV commercial through Filmworks, UK, they required a line production team capable of managing complex multi-state logistics across vast geographic and climatic shifts.

Directed by acclaimed UK director and Filmworks founder Glen Milner, the shoot traversed the Indian subcontinent on a compressed schedule - starting at -8°C at 4,500 meters in Ladakh and ending at 50°C tracking wild tigers in Ranthambore, Rajasthan.

Goa Film Services provided full commercial line production, financial infrastructure, multi-state scheduling, and field production for the shoot.

Line Production & Multi-State Execution

Executing a high-end TV commercial across a 58-degree temperature variance and a 4,300 meter altitude variance required precise multi-destination coordination:

• Inter-State Transport Logistics: Moving high-value camera packages and international crew across major distances - from high-altitude military airports in the far north to remote desert wildlife reserves in the west - without schedule delays or equipment damage.

• Specialized Alpine Unit Integration: For the high-altitude, sub-zero filming sequences in Leh and the mountain passes of Ladakh, our line production team integrated directly with our specialized mountain division at Himalaya Film Services.

• Permitting & Local Compliance: State-level filming permissions, forest department clearances for tiger tracking corridors in Ranthambore, and drone compliance were coordinated in partnership with our expert film fixer in India.

• Practical Field Management: Handled extreme conditions using direct, battle-tested solutions - storing camera batteries inside crew inner jacket layers to prevent rapid charge drain at -8°C, and enforcing strict dust-sealing protocols for camera gear in the 50°C desert heat.
